AFCEE promotes the integration of Sustainable Design & Development (SDD) principles into all construction projects, ranging from SRM to MILCON. In support of AF Transformation and the A7C strategic objectives, AFCEE provides guidance and support for the AF MILCON program. In addition to the MILCON program, AFCEE provides sustainability support to SRM projects that can benefit from principles of sustainability. AFCEE also provides tools and education on the SDD program, as well as the principles of the US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.
