The following instructions are provided to address the new guidelines in the UFP:
Contractors should report consistent with the guidance in their QSM. If Non-Detects, report parval=0 and mdl = LOD. If Trace, report estimated value and detection limit for MDL. Report LOQ for RL. AFCEE flagging convention will not change.

ERPIMS 5.0
The ERPIMS Support Team is pleased to announce the deployment of the ERPIMS 5.0 software suite. This release includes the following software components:
1. ERPTools X - is the latest generation of ERPIMS software developed for distribution to contractors, including prime contractors and laboratories, to assist them in preparing ERPIMS data submissions.
2. ERPIMS Web Service - provides synchronization between the ERPIMS submission and production databases with the client-side database contained within the ERPTools X application.
3. ERPIMS Web Tools - provides data extract and query capabilities to the .mil user community only.
These new tools include automated submission uploads. Customers outside of the .mil domain will be required to obtain an External Certificate Authority (ECA) before they can use the tools. Additional information is accessible from the ERPIMS Registration page.
RECOVERY DATA NOW REQUIRES ABSOLUTE VALUES:
This guidance only pertains to users attempting to submit FY2009 data or older. For FY2010 or newer data, absolute values should be obtained from the lab.

When submitting an ERPTools X submission and only value known is % recovery, enter the following:
PARVAL=99999
UNITS=UNITS OF NORMAL SAMPLE
SPIKE_ADDED=99999
PERCENT_RECOVERY= % RECOVERY VALUE TO BE REPORTED

The contractor needs to identify these records in the transmittal letter. Once the transmittal letter and submission have been received, the ERPIMS staff will update the following:

The name, phone number and email address of the data submittal point of contact should always be included with the data so that an emailed receipt can be provided. Data submissions are subject to additional data validation and should not be considered as a one-time deliverable. After the data is inserted into the AFCEE ERPIMS database, an insert notice will be emailed.

AFCEE has assumed the ERPIMS support mission from AFRPA in support of Air Force BRAC installations.

ERPIMS is the Air Force system for validation and management of data from environmental projects at all Air Force bases. This data contains analytical chemistry samples, tests, and results as well as hydrogeological information, site/location descriptions, and monitoring well characteristics. AFCEE/OSP maintains the latest and official version of the ERPIMS specification and ERPIMS data structure.

The information in this area of the AFCEE website contains documents and software for use by environmental remediation contractors to submit data for ERPIMS. Among the contents of the ERPIMS database are information on the contract which generated the data, the locations and sites of the sampling events, lithology, well completion data, the samples taken, the tests run on those samples, and analytical results from those tests. ERPTools/X is the latest MS Windows-based software package which has been developed for distribution to contractors to help them in collection and entry of their data, validation and quality control of that data. ERPTools/X performs hundreds of validation checks and is quite rigorous.
Note: AFCEE will only provide support to users of this software who have completed the required registration process.

ERPTools/X Software Page
This page contains links for downloading ERPTools/X software these programs. This software tool prepares submission files that are in compliance with the ERPIMS Data Loading Handbook. This page also presents some of the available ERPIMS documentation.

ERPIMS Valid Values Lists(VVLs)
Many ERPIMS data fields are filled by codes which have been assigned by AFCEE. These codes are compiled into lists, each list is the set of legal values for a certain field in the database. This link will take you to a page where the VVLs can be downloaded in a variety of formats for use with ERPTools PC Version 4.
