Welcome to the Housing Privatization (HP) Communications Toolbox!
The purpose of this Toolbox is to create an integrated communication strategy to articulate how the Air Force will inform internal and external stakeholders about the Air Force Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI), and ensure Airmen and their families know they have access to safe, quality, well-maintained housing. Due to the positive impact Housing Privatization has on Airmen, the need to communicate the program's development and successes is critical for various stakeholders as HP progresses.
The content below was designed to assist Installation-level HP Asset Managers and Public Affairs Officers (PAOs) with implementation guidance of communication activities to promote HP projects at the installation. The activities contained within the Toolbox should be tailored to the individual needs of the installation and coordinated for release with your base-level PAO. Public Affairs at all levels will be involved in the review, approval, and release of HP communication activities.
All materials identified are recommended communication activities by project phase. The recommended tool and description is listed with the corresponding activity as well as any supporting documents. Information developed for these products and dissemination time frames may need to be adjusted depending on the unique circumstances of each project.
As this Toolbox evolves, periodically check this web site for updates or new materials that will help you more effectively communicate about your project. Asset Managers, PAOs, and other Action Officers are encouraged to add activities that have been implemented successfully at the installation to this Toolbox so that they can be shared with other AOs.
