Asset Management Support
The Base faced with the transition from traditional housing office management to privatized office management must manage two things, their tasks and people.
The HQ AFCEE/HDP team and the Privatization Support Contractor helps the Base manage the project tasks such as; develop the RFP, select the Offeror and
close the project. However, behind the scenes, the Base and MAJCOM (the asset team) must also manage the privatized office transition.
The asset team's goal is to get everything ready for closing (schedule),
assign their team members and get the members
trained to do the new job. This transition can seem overwhelming,
but is manageable with the right resources.
The sections (Schedule,
and
Team) on this page list the transition resources by phase and milestone.
Since these phases and milestones coincide with the Notional Project Schedule used to manage the closing, the Base can cross-reference the project schedule
with this table to identify the relevant transition management tasks for a given phase.
To use this tool:
Select the category in which you are interested (i.e., Schedule,
or
Team)
Within that category, select the phase tab in which you are interested. (i.e., I, II, III, IV, V)
