Periodic Reports Definition, Goals, and Objectives
The Quarterly Project Report is the formal mechanism to inform stakeholders about the Project's development, operations, and financial performance. The report provides detailed data analysis, benchmarking, and trending information, as well as a narrative discussion of project issues, challenges, and lessons learned. The Quarterly Project Report and other periodic reports are fundamental oversight tools utilized by the Air Force to ensure long-term program success. These reports communicate project status across key performance metrics, provide detailed discussion of oversight processes, describe how post-closing risks are being managed, and assess whether a project is meeting program goals and objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
During the report development process, Asset Managers provide feedback on current project issues. Once the report is distributed, Asset Managers are responsible for reviewing its contents and briefing base leadership on relevant issues. The AFCEE Portfolio Management Team is responsible for conducting the analysis and preparing the Quarterly Project Report.
Process and/or Metrics
The Quarterly Project Report provides an assessment of the following key performance metrics: occupancy, service, budget, annual site visit, financial health, debt coverage, and construction schedule. These metrics are rated as exceptional, acceptable, marginal or unacceptable.
