AFPACES
Definition, Goals, and Objectives The Air Force Portfolio & Asset Control & Evaluation System (AFPACES) is the primary knowledge management system for the Air Force Housing Privatization Asset and Portfolio Management Program. The AFPACES system utilizes the Microsoft Sharepoint© web portal software package to provide programmatic knowledge management for Air Force Executive, Portfolio, MAJCOM, and Asset-level stakeholders. Through the use of the AFPACES information technology tool, the Air Force can efficiently manage and share the information necessary to oversee the portfolio and ensure program goals and objectives are achieved. Specifically, the AFPACES web portal provides a shared program and project workspace environment, a secure digital document repository, a formal method to communicate lessons learned and best practices, and a customized financial database.

Roles and Responsibilities
Asset Managers and other AFPACES users are responsible for understanding how to utilize the system and integrate the system's functionality into their oversight management processes. The AFCEE Portfolio Management Team is responsible for managing the AFPACES system, and specific home pages are maintained by a designated Jones Lang LaSalle portfolio advisor.

Process and/or Metrics
AFPACES utilizes the latest information management technology to ensure the Air Force conducts its portfolio management function efficiently and effectively.
