Cultural Resources
The AFCEE cultural resources staff is responsible for overseeing and managing the Air Force's cultural resources management program in addition to providing consulting and contracting services to Major Commands and installations.

Natural Resources
The AFCEE natural resources staff is responsible for overseeing and managing the Air Force's natural resources management program in addition to providing consulting and contracting services to the Major Commands and installations. Functional area experts in the fields of forestry, botany, and threatened and endangered species are available for consultation and assistance.

Types of services provided by the natural resources staff include:
  • Assistance with Section 7 consultations (Endangered Species Act)
  • Survey, analysis, and documentation of threatened and endangered species, wetlands, forests, and other field studies
  • Managing the preparation of Integrated Natural Resource Management Plans and other natural resource products
  • Training
  • Developing and overseeing the Air Force natural resources budgets for forestry, fish and wildlife, and agricultural outlease program revenues
  • Conducting staff assistance visits for resource problem identification and resolution
  • Assisting in wetlands restoration and monitoring
