Environmental Analysis Support System (DOPAA)
Description of the Proposed Action and Alternatives
The Description of the Proposed Action and Alternatives (DOPAA) software is designed to assist the proponent organization in identifying the elements which need to be included in the DOPAA for preparation of an Environmental Assessment (EA) or an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) by the Environmental Planning Function (EPF). The program is intended for all proponent offices at a typical Air Force Base, not just the environmental office (CEV). It is designed to assist personnel not familiar with the environmental impact process by providing a step by step tutorial for completing the description of the proposed action and alternatives portion of the AF Fom 813. The program provides the user with queries and an online HELP function as well as examples of project description associated with typical Air Force activities. .
