Cultural Resources
Some of the specific services the cultural resources staff provides include:
  • Program support for Conservation, including historic building and archaeological inventories and evaluations, HABS/HAER documentation, archaeological collections and records curation, planning and funding, and consultations.
  • Drafting Memoranda of Agreement and Programmatic Agreements
  • Providing counsel to DOD, Air Staff, Major Commands and installations on cultural resource funding and all other program issues.
  • Native American consultation in compliance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, the American Indian Religious Freedom Act, the Archaeological Resources Protection Act, and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
  • Assisting preparation of, and reviewing Integrated Cultural Resource Management Plans and other cultural resource products and deliverables.
  • Archeology Services
    • Contracting and review of Phase I, Phase II and Phase III projects and installations.
    • SOW's for all phases of archaeological work.
    • Consultation on legal requirements, standards, and processes of archaeological work in the USAF.
    • Cost estimates for specific archaeological work
