Mission Statement:
- Represent the Air Force to state and regional federal environmental regulators and authorities
- Provide environmental program oversight on a regional basis
- Facilitate consistent application of environmental standards across regions
- Assist major commands and bases with environmental management issues
- Provide Air Force environmental leaders with updates on environmental compliance, status, trends, and problem areas
- Provide regional support for all Air Force installation restoration programs and the third party site program
- Serve as the Regional Environmental Coordinator for EPA Region II and the Air Force Regional Environmental Coordinator for EPA Regions I, II, III, and IV.
