Mission Statement
The Office of the Staff Judge Advocate is a support organization that provides legal services to AFCEE and AFCEE's customers, as required and consistent with the provisions of AFI 51-102 (19 Jul 04). These services include the providing of information, analysis, and guidance to AFCEE personnel and customers on matters of environmental law, contract law, fiscal law, ethics, Air Force, Department of Defense and federal regulations and policy, procurement issues, and compliance with international agreements. The office also manages and maintains AFCEE's law library. It also interfaces with federal, state, and local agencies to facilitate regulator approval of AFCEE products and services.
Specifically, we want to:
- Ensure AFCEE's products and services will withstand regulatory scrutiny and judicial review;
- Add value to AFCEE's products and services beyond legal sufficiency;
- Provide information and advice on the Joint Ethics Regulation;
- Keep Regulator demands within legal limits;
- Assist Air Staff and MAJCOM attorneys in their efforts to use and rely on AFCEE services; and
- Assist in the timely and efficient tasking of AFCEE contracts.
